Don't be misled by the title. There are no movies to download or view. The streaming video fairy does not live here; you'll have to look for her elsewhere.

TPP: Shobana in Manichitrathazhu.
At this particular moment, I wish I could flip my shit the way Shobana does from 0:40 to about 1:14. But I don't think some folks would appreciate it. Fuckers.

TPP: Shobana in Siva
Some of her facial expressions and mannerisms in this movie make me think of Madhuri Dixit. I don't know why, I just "see" Madz whenever Shobana moves or looks a certain way.

Latest SLO: Shobhana
I've always thought she was gorgeous but today, at this particular moment, I am All About Shobhana, mainly because she has inspired me in an unexpected, but much-needed way.
I passed on Ennakul Oruvan but decided to try my luck with Aayiram Kannukal. It's probably not in stock :( I should've ordered it back when I was half-watching it online.
Why, oh why, isn't Innale on VCD at least? If I knew of a reliable source for VHS tapes, I'd try to hunt down some of these older titles that aren't available on DVD or VCD.

TPP: Shobhana in Manichitrathazhu.
Last week, this seemed like a good idea:
But now, I'm drawn to the idea of falling into a black hole and having whatever's left of my remains scattered into the universe.
If I were into writing fan fiction, I'd put my own R or NC-17 rated spin on this movie, because that's how my mind works. In some ways, I liked the Kannada remake, Apthamitra better; in others, I preferred the Mallu original. I'd try to explain why, but I don't feel like it right now. Maybe one day. Or never. **shrug**

Enakkul Oruvan(1984)
Tamil remake of Karz. I thought about ordering the VCD from anytamil a while back, but hesitated.
Pros: Kamal Hassan and Shobana
Cons: Wasn't wild about Karz, and not sure if the Tamil version is any better. And, even though it's listed, it might not be available(e.g. Yavanika, Vismayathumbathu).
**sigh**

Aayiram Kannukal(1986)
I wish I could curl up in bed and watch this. I wonder if anytamil has it in stock.
Was the plot--Shobhana dreams about murders before they happen--lifted from Eyes of Laura Mars?
Shobhana is gorgeous. These days, whenever I see her name, I'm reminded of how she was supposedly one of the four heroines in the now-shelved Marmayogi. (Another reminder: Dance Like A Man - the DVD is available from Nehaflix. If it were $8 less, I'd buy it.)
Mammootty looks nearly the same now as he did back in the eighties.
